and darkness filled the sky
i watched as you quickly fell
into a world of lies
into the land of peaceful sleep
with your dead reality
where nothing is quite what it seems
your ghosts sing harmony
when shadows fall across your face
i'm looking for a clue
but you're blanketed with dreams
that i'm not privy to
in the morning when you wake
you start it all again
is this the day i see you
or will you still pretend ...
are you just a sleeper
