Memories

There's an Old Cardboard Box

Sitting high on the shelf

Dust covered and torn

It sits by its self

That Box holds alot

Of both You and Me

Love Letters and Pictures

And Old Memories

Today I took down that Box

With the greatest of care

It was weak in some places

And easy to tear

First I saw a Picture

From the 4th of July

We didn't need any Fireworks

You had Sparkle in your Eyes

Then one with you in Your Bikini

We were Happy at the Beach

We were Crazy,It was November

But You Generated Heat

Your First Love Letter

Was next to be seen

This brings back Memories

You said You Loved Me

Here is the Leaf

Once Green now Dark

I pulled from Your Hair

When We made Love in the Park

As I look at the Pictures

My Deep Sadness is Felt

For Love Letters and Pictures

Are All I have Left

You see,I Drove Her Away

With Lies and Deceite

She wasn't Happy anymore

She lived in Misery

A Love built on Truth

Will Almost Always Survive

But Love will not Last

On Deceite and White Lies

Where ever You are

I have Serched Near and Far

If You read this poem

You'll know Who You are

Remember I Love You

And I have from the Start

And I ask for Forgivness

From the Bottom of My Heart
