Into Our Graves

You climb up a hill just to roll back down
You work your whole life just to sleep in the ground
It's time to wake up now
Time to lace up your shoes
Find where your soul wants your feet to lead you
And, go

It's turned into nothing but a money game
It's a funny thing to loose your soul for possessions gained
You have a choice to make
Have a voice to change it all
So, will you turn your back on desire's call
Pick yourself up and finally go

Some say life is nothing, no
Some say life is a big old circle
Some say life cannot be changed
Some say life is up to fate

Some say life is only chance
Some say life is just a dance
Some say life is God's own gift
Some say life is happenstance at best

We're searching deep for philosophies
We're working hard so that other's see
What we gather through our greed
We justify as genuine need
But, what would happen if it was striped away
Would we really fall down into our graves
