A Dress So Tight

Well, goodbye now lover

Seems we broke as quick as we bound our hearts to each other

Seems wings melt the closer they hover to the light

Funny, I thought it was the other way around

What was I thinking

Asking you to dance as the band was singing

Asking for the chance to watch you awake in the light morning brings

I guess I wasn't

The way your tan skin reflected those lights

Your blue eyes and a dress so tight

My imagination could barely imagine more

Though I tried

Well, here I am again

Face over feet and falling so deep in

Facing the fact I'll fail once you see my crooked grin

Even if I hide it well

But, you get exactly what you want

Glances and glares and lustful thoughts

Glancing up and down as you flaunt

What you've no intention giving up

But, the way your tan skin reflected those lights

Your blue eyes and a dress so tight

My imagination could barely imagine more

Though I tried
