Hello Father

It flashed like light through a projector

Our children riding bicycles

Tearing off Christmas present paper

Coming down with cancer

Tiny little dancer

Momma's little ball player

Daddy's pride and joy

If I could look through their eyes

Know exactly if I gave them enough love

That they would see love in strangers

And, turn strangers into friends

Friends into companions

Into spouses

Did I give her all I could in every situation

Could I have tried a little harder

To leave work at work and put forward my best disposition

All these questions

And, the only answer I can find truth in

The only answer I know I can't deny

Is that she gives me all of her love

God found me like a baby sheep torn from its mother

Out in the wilderness without cover

And, in my heart, the Ghost, shielded my darkest hour

As He took me high atop the Mountain

And, poured out Light and Love and Grace's Power

Like anointed oil upon the dirtest of wool

And, washed me with the Holiest of Water

Welcome to Life

Welcome Home

Hello Father.
