The separation occurred

Strange, it didn’t even hurt

Romantic feelings fleeting

The growing ceased now there’s no blood to bleed

Please don’t feed me another lie

Unless you need to spite me one more time

Save the suspense and just leave



This is not a sad song

Simply honesty for once

We were wrong and push ourselves in the ground

Face first in the dirt of deception

Truth is crying for relief

Truth is trying to see



This means more than you’ll believe

Love is not found in the lines of between

It’s what you said, but didn’t mean

Remember me when you can’t see

That too you never did mean

There remains a ghost
