Astonished is a fitting word

You use me in ways I can’t explain

And through me Your will is made complete

Do not let me fall away

Do not let me walk astray

I pray, keep my legs walking in Your way

When held fixed in Your arms and eyes

I feel more loved and at home than I have ever before



Caught off guard

In my darkest time

I could do nothing

Nothing but cry

But You answered my feeble prayer

You found this needle then and there

And have since used me to sew Your will



Now my worst of worries

Simply do not weigh on my mind

The lessons learned I now live by inside

There is hope in the unknown

Love in ever unturned stone

And until my time comes to be found

I will press on until You calm me

For I know that Your intentions for me are those of love and honesty
