Tell me something I need to hear

Switch frequencies, My God, just come in clear

Just don't speak softly

Just raise your voice and drown out the fear

And maybe, hopefully

I'll see you in another year or two



I want to go where the atmosphere turns into infinity

I want to touch the robe of God's divinity

I want to know what it feels like outside of this infirmary

And to float free with all the others in the anti-gravity

And finally know what true love means



I'm finished with reason and all it thinks it knows

And wisdom's only something another person's done

And learned from and then hated

For the same reason they hated when the didn't know



I see the stars

But do they see me

Do they know that my heart is contained within them all
