Stop! This momentum is all in reverse

They said it's a blessing and not a curse

I tried it once, there shouldn't be a first

Cause now I keep hitting it like I would a wet nurse

I'm getting dumber and it's only getting worse

It's time to stop! like an itch with some ointment

I meant to turn around, make an appointment

But I hit a brick wall, now I have no other choice - But..

I made the wrong decision, it wasn't even mine

Now it's clear I'm at a big red stop sign

I need to look for the future, keep myself in line

I'm sure if I go forward I'll be doin' just fine

Seems I'm always finding life out the hard way

Sometimes I have to follow the path that goes astray

I gotta keep my head up and remember to pray

I know eventually I'll reach my glorious day

I try my hardest and it's hard to jump the hurdle

Like in the rainbow I finish last like the color purple

Stop! Don't listen to this girl 'cause she's a trick

She'll tell me anything just like any other chick

I need to break the chain and I need to break it quick

Thinking about her only makes my stomach sick
