"Lake LBJ"
Down comes the girl,
from the Cabin next door.
Looking across the Lake,
one hot summer's night!
We both started thinking,
this might be right.
Nothing was said,
my mind raced and pondered.
Turning to the Lake, we set and wondered!
The cool summer's breeze blew through her hair.
Magic took over, as we started to stare.
Her friendly smile added warmth to the place,
the words I spoke, some how had grace!
As the Moon and Stars,
danced in the waves.
I often think, the magic of Lake L.B.J.!
