Saying Goodbye

It came up so fast I didn't belive it.

I thought back to the past as to what

has come of that. I miss you so dearly

great grandma I do declare. I miss your

homemade meals and your keen sense in any

card game. I miss your stubburn ways. I'm

so ashamed I never got to tell you I loved

you one last time. I watched you oh so very

carefully on that sad day. I felt I had to make

sure not one thing were to go wrong. As I stood

at the bottom of the hill, winds are chilly and

the skies are dark, I watch as they lower you down

some. Just then the sun came out upon your coffin

like something new were starting. I went to stand

next to you grave and say that one last but hard

goodbye.
