Balance on Horseback

Sits next to Balance; Despair.

Who knew they sat so close

Were such good friends

     (Like that small space, riding a bike,

      between falling down....and not.)

     *     *     *     *

"Ride the balance that IS....not that SHOULD be."

     *     *     *     *

Now, spine is source of happiness.

     *     *     *     *

Krishna, was my attachment to you hooked into my 'hurt?'

And does all this illumination eclipse you?



   ---"Why worry, why sorrow?"

   ---"Illumination is my subtle form."

   ---"Balance, my gift to you."



   ---"Now, all your "Friends and Relations" say:

"Kindness will Abound" eats out of your hand.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

This poem reflects what I am learning, by horseback riding. "Kindness will Abound" is the name of a horse, introduced in the poem:"Kindness Will Abound".
