You don’t know how much it meant

Because now I’ve got a reason unlike before

You saved me without even knowing

I know you care

I know you’re there

I know it’s everything



All I ever wanted is now closer in my reach  

And I thank you for walking the distance

For acknowledging my presence

And that’s all I feel

All I needed

All and everything



I know it’s there for me

But this might not last

I might not know

Give me a sign that I’m not walking the line

Let me know everything will be fine

That I’m not trapped in the darkness this time



That’s all I ever needed it to be

Got a part of what I wasn’t meant to have

And so I thank you for that

But this won’t last

It might not come to pass



But then maybe the light will shine again

And maybe I might be fine again

Maybe everything will come back again

Closer now then ever
