The Rest Is History
I am now an author and a poet
they send shivers to my whole body
an author and a poet
I can't imagine I am called this way
my dreams were simple and ordinary
just to love my man and marry
and have our kids for me to carry
and pray that we never worry
then one day I had a love affair
with my computer and my dictionary
and I was told I'm good in poetry
and I guess the rest is history
