If I was to do it all over again what I did to my mom
the time I painted her knees with smiling faces on it
and I was scolded so hard my tears fell out from my eyes,
will I do it again?,oh yes! in a heartbeat, I will
For how can I smile and recall that moment of joy
up to this time, tears come out from my eyes,even my
kids are laughing so hard,imagining her knees with
smiling faces on it.
If I was to do it all over again, what I did to my kids
I was firm and a nag when it came to their grades,
to study hard, cuz it was the only gift we can give.
Until the day they learned, that studying was great
will I do it again?, oh yes! in a heartbeat I will
cuz how will I know that you grew to be right,just and
so kind, and look at you now, how proud I have become
And if I was to do it again,to love you one more time
even though your faults are transparent sometimes
to live in a small place and budget with grace
and fulfill all the dreams that we want to achieve
will I do it again?, oh yes !in a heartbeat I will.
We had fun most of the time, laughing at our jokes
crying at those times when the going got tough
but guess that was all right, you may have said goodbye
but I know I'll be fine, and if ask one more time
if I'll do it all again, my answer will always be the same,
oh yes! in a heartbeat I will!!!
