Friends

Friends

Are there to help you

Through your worries

And pain-

They are there for you

When you need them.

Friends

help you to understand things

Just as they are-

Not of what they ain't.

If there weren't any friends

In my life,

I'd die

Because of all the

Heartache I've been

Through-

And I wouldn't like

It here on earth.

Friends

Are there for you

During hardships and pain-

They help you pull through

It all

In a full cloud of rain.

Friends

Are the rainbow that is

Showered over you

In a time of need-

They are full of helaing

And good, wise words

To help your suffering.

I have friends;

I care for them

And help them

Pull through their

Worries, pain and hurt.

Nothing

Can behold or withold

Me from having friends-

Nor

Could they stop me from

Being a friend to them.

Friends

Can be of different ages-

They all don't necessarily

Have to be your age.

Friends are just friends-

And no one can change it.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this some summers ago. I was around 14 and still a beginner poet. But now I relize more than what I wrote here in this poem about friends and friendships. I think it's what makes us friends out the outside, become friends to ourselves on the inside.
