Hearts are so fragile

They break in your hands

One touch

And they shatter in two

Minds are so fickle

They don’t understand

All I want

Is to be with you

You laugh

And I’m laughing

You cry

And I’m there

One moment

Is all I need

To show you

I care

So please understand

My confusion and pain

My heartbreak

And fear of being alone

I’m weak on the inside

I’m broken outside

I’m not tough as nails

Or solid as stone
