Clouds roll by,
Drenching me with tears
And increasing my fears
Strange, how it reminds me
Of times
When the sun was out
The sun was always out,
Orange and inviting
Everyone to share its wealth
The sunshine hugged us
Tightly in her embrace,
She held
Now the sun is gone
Lost in the horizon
With it, my life
The clouds are still here
At minds rear,
Rolling by.
