Callous Love

Following instincts, some i not abide

Man, woman and child, why hide?

Sly and twisted, turn away the mirror

Goodbye friends and mistresses, where is my favour?



In hunger i prowl,

Darkness lingering

Eluding my presence

Wanting, needing

Animals sharing flesh,

Gardens witness

Delicate cotton shredding,

Love so callous

Blood and scar paintings,

Trophies of sorrow

Still and burning,

No thoughts of tomorrow.
