Perfect Crime

I can't take it, no not any more.

My body is shaking to the core.

I run to my room to find the item that can end it all.

It tempts with never ending dreams that seem so small.

Then I start to think about you and me.

How you said that we could flee

To a world where no ones been.

I can feel the temptation crawl underneath my skin

Because now you’re gone.

You left me because of that instinct you acted on.

The one that made your life leave you.

So now I ask you this one thing...who?

Who was the one that made you hurt?

Who was the one that made your life invert?

Was it me?

Was it because I wasn't your key?

Did I push you over the edge?

If it makes you feel better I'll do this as my pledge...

Tears run down my blushed face.

With this item I'll bring you grace.

I'll be the one that revenges you spirit.

I'll be the one that turned in the culprit.

Salvation will be yours in do time,

Don't worry this will be our perfect crime.

I'll take myself in with this cold item.

When we're together we'll be the absolute system.

Now as I bring this metal death to me head

I hope people know what's been said.

That I'll be with the one I love up above the atmosphere.

I'll tell you all how wonderful it is up here.

While I stand by my first and last,

I hope this feeling doesn't go by fast.

Now I'll say good-bye to you my friends.

I hope this deed makes amends.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I imagined the person in this poem a women who lost her lover and went insane thinking about him and while doing so came to the conclusion that it was her fault and she should be with him. Once that thought got in her head she started to think that it's what her lover would've wanted, so she killed herself to be with him thinking it would be best.
