Laugh

I laugh at the absurdities

Cry about the casualties

I dance for the little things

Fall down because of everything

I live in this crazy time

A time that's called forever

It kills us slowly

Yet not quite fast enough.

I die in my mind

but in theirs, I can't stop living

Because of the things that I've

done, things that I've

said, things that make them wish to be

dead.

Things that have been done to me.

But they just cannot see

that we live (die) in a cycle

of constant hate (love)

constant laughing, crying

living, dying

Death.

Author's Notes/Comments:

So this was one of the first poems I ever wrote. Pretty straightforward but maybe a tad confusing. So, if anyone could give me criticism that'd be great! Be as harsh as you want :)
