Though I have been tossed aside

It means nothing to me



I stood alone all my life

I have done well you see





I trusted people and told my heart

Now they seem to depart



Means nothing to me today

Except that I ran them away





I learned my lesson and pretty well

Everyone else can go to      .



I’m tired of empty promises

Tired of trying to believe



I’m going to start thinking

Maybe I should leave
