Trying to be still
Wondering if you hear
Please tell me whats your will
Lord I'm kneeling at your throne
Worshipping with praise
You see my hands are empty
Up to you they raise
Lord I'm seated in your courts
Content and peaceful now
Thankyou oh so very much
Unto You I bow
My life was such an awful mess
Heart ache and dismay
But then I met the Savior
And He taught me how to pray
Not with special words to say
Or phrases others shout
Not with things repeated loud
It's not what Gods about
He talks about the quiet times
The be still and know
Lord today I pray to you
Your love through me you show
