As I was riding to my job, peddeling my schwinn,

I heard a distant heart beat, coming from within.



At first I said its just the wind,blowing past my ears,

But then I had to ask myself, what then caused the tears.



And then the next thing I will say, seems really odd,

But then i knew completely, It was the heart of God.



We are getting even closer, since I started to stray,

But then I can say without a doubt, here is where I'll stay.



Walking with my Jesus, standing side by side,

Holding in His loving arms, forever I'll abide.
