Final Goodbyes

Why did you have to leave me?

Why did you have to die?

Why couldn't you be there for me?

Why did you make me cry?

You know that I was only three,

But I guess your days ran dry

You know that I still love you.

Please, don't you understand?

I'm telling you the truth.

Now, please take my hand

And lead me up to Heaven.

I want to go with you.

The years you're gone are eleven,

And I don't know what to do.

I know that life is blessed;

A gift from up above.

It's time for you to leave, I guess.

Please, now, don't forget our love.

With love, Your Granddaughter
