Sometimes people aren't what they seem
even if you think you know them
they just aren't what they used to be
cause their morals have escaped them
and now they think they're living free
but they're living inside a theme
a theme in someone else's dream

What else is there to believe?
once they shove it in your face
they want you to feel complete
by playing life's little games
they want you to feel defeat
when all you feel is ashamed

Sometimes people say they will change
but dont intend on doing so
Sometimes I think it's just a phase
that we all go through when we're alone
Sometimes I think my mind cant take
all the pressure from everyone
and I feel like I cant go on
