Life is Colorful
Life is colorful.
Life is full of colors, people see the world in different colors.
Red, blue, pink, orange, green, etc…
But what if you are blind to life? Maybe not just physically blind but emotionally too.
Someone may find life dull or meaningless. Colorless in their eyes; black, white, and grey is all they see.
But what if they don’t realize what they see isn’t what everyone else sees? What if they think what they see is normal? What if they go through their whole life experiencing emotionless events; having apathetic thoughts and reasoning.
Black, white, and grey how long have you been seeing the world like this? Why can’t I experience the colors everyone sees? Why am blind to the world’s beauty? Why is life so dull and meaningless?
Colors can be amazing and yet so very frightening. I say this because if you see two colors together like red and blue make magenta, but if you see too many colors at once it can be overwhelming and it can turn ugly and it can go all pitch black.
I don’t realize what other people see; other people don’t realize what I see. Sometimes a colorless world isn’t so bad. I mean you may not see the good in the world like other people do, but you don’t really see the bad either. You’re in between; you don’t have to feel pain nor happiness, you’re not abstaining yourself from anything. Yes it’s a lifestyle in a way but feeling apathetic isn’t a choice seeing a colorless world isn’t a choice.
I’m telling you now being happy was never my priority, feeling something other than apathy wasn’t my goal. Yes wanting to see a color other than the colors I see now was a dream, but that dream ended right when it became a thought. An unimaginable dream coming true. It’s a waste of energy that I don’t have very much of. So don’t feel any sympathy nor pity because I’m not seeking it. What I’m seeking is much more simple, I would like to keep living my colorless life. Full of black, white and grey.
