I still can't believe it

After all these years

You showed me a greater world

And erased all my fears

You dried up my tears

You made them disappear

You held your arms wide

And let me confide

Your listening ear

Helped me more than you know

Just by being there

I could let things go

And when I'm sad and depressed

With nowhere to run

I turn to you

And you show me the sun.

Ironic as it is,

It's just what I need

Cuz when the moon isn't there

I need something to succeed

And I wonder how someone

Can be so great.

Are you a superhero

Or is it merely fate?

Whichever it is,

I'm glad I have you

Destiny or hero,

You're a dream come true.
