Let’s climb the cherry oak,

{Fly away so far from home}

Romance our situation

{Romance today and we’re flyin’}



Broken heart rejoice

{At the sound of his voice}

Cried my way through the pain

{Stood all day in the rain}

Felt my way around

{Lunging at the sound}

Of his footsteps coming close

{My heart stopped and I froze}

Found out about the loss

{Of one’s favorite love}

Broken hearts don’t cry

Tonight we fly away,

          {We’re so high}



Let’s not ponder on our loss

{Or what was it’s cause}

Let’s romance

{and give it one chance}
