bit by bit, experience by experience
moment by moment
Writing to n o particular audience -
I want it to be what it is,
Free of the constraints of
catering to readers' desires.
Open for interpretation
By all who take it and own it,
Really make it their own.
And such is the beauty of art:
You can make it your own
in so many ways.
A poet not preocupied with
anyone's opinion of their work
Is as liberated as Alice
in her Wonderland
Free to see all of this amazing life
And make it their own.
