Biography of Eternity

Inside the sanctuary of the cool rock

The darkness of home

Though I know not the meaning yet

The brontosaurus shakes the earth

Beginning to understand energy

and there is controlled heat, light

But the journey will be exhausting



The construction is a daunting task

The Sphynx watches as I

stand, panting, in the hot sand

Feeling the sun beating down

I'll admire these geometric wonders

for the rest of my life



Bringing the day's goods to the village square

My wagon drawn by a dusty

but faithful mule

Another day in the marketplace

Anticipating my arrival

at my cottage, its comfort



Reaching the shore of a new land

Leaving the confines of the ship

Progress, not compassion

We have a goal to accomplish

They tell us we're heroes



Our world has been destroyed

These strange new men

Imposing their shortsighted beliefs

Upon our sacred customs

Life used to be so simple and true



Equality is coming

A breakthrough for humanity

I've heard too many gunshots

Screaming out a color



Modern technology can't simulate happiness

Sleepwalking through a maze

with TV screen walls

Drown it all out

I'll have another, actually make that a double

Being successful and happy

Induces stress, you know



Gazing at a magnificent waterfall

Huge rock face carved by water

during my lifetimes

Lying on the warm rock, open, receptive

Feeling and seeing the energy flow through me

Carrying my spirit to peace

Past Present Future are ONE.

I rise from my slumber

Into an eternal, wondrous dream:
