I've always been so good with words,
but now my tongue is tied
I've tried to explain it all, you've heard
Each time I've failed and cried
Sometimes, on a warm sunny day
I walk with a smile on my face
All the little things take my breath away
The tears dry up, smeared makeup is their trace.
On days like this, it's hard to remember the rain
It always seems like this feeling is forever
But the storm comes back, I'm left feeling insane
When it all changes as quickly as the weather.
