Tired of moving,
give a reason to stay,
to find a place that’s home.

Tired of fighting,
give me a reason to fix things,
to try and make it all okay.

Tired of caring,
I always get burned,
give me a reason to try,
to help anyone again.

Love keeps wounding me,
give me a reason to feel,
when my heart’s too numb to bleed.

Forever wandering the world,
I always end up alone,
give me a reason not to go,
give me something to hold onto.

Tired of all the pain,
of always looking back,
give me a reason to keep going.

Tired of crying,
of the apathy,
give me a reason to heal,
my heart will never be whole.

Always running,
I can never stay,
give me a reason to stop,
arms that’ll always catch me.

What do you want from me,
you expect to trust,
to show my tears,
stop pretending every day.

My heart’s torn to shreds,
frozen over in pain.

Give me a reason to love anymore,
give me a promise to believe,

When all anyone’s ever done is leave,
give me a reason to trust that you’ll stay.
