Wonderful Time Of The Year
To many times I have sat and watched
Listened and Laughed
But when all is said and done I would do it all again
To see the children playing in the snow
The adults scurrying to and fro
Shopping in a hurry
Tearing the paper as we go
No peeking now
Cheating not allowed
Thats against the rules
Just as soon
The backs are turned
Thru the bags and papers are torn
Giggles can be heard
As the children run
Thru the snow
Oops there is a mud puddle
Parents a mumbling
Children a laughin
Oh what a wonderful time of year......
