The tears fall

No reason why

We said goodbye  

So many years ago

We had our fun

But the time had come

We drifted apart

So much had been said

The pain was to great

Had to walk away

Before it was to late

Then why i ask

Why cant i let you go

We have both moved on

Both have made new lives

The other night

You proved to me i was just a thought

If even that

Yet here i sit

tears flowing

Wondering why

Five long years

Since we said goodbye

Lots of tears shed

Lots of heated words exchanged

But here i sit

Wondering why

Why does it bother me

Why i ask

Why cant i forget

WHY....... cant you walk away and leave me alone
