i saw you the last time

on a cloudy tuesday at noon

the seconds, they ticked by

and i realized i missed you

i couldn't help but think

what are we going to do?

it's going to be so lonely

living on without you



i heard the cries of sadness

as soon as you were gone

the tears were in abundance

and something felt wrong

i know you're in a better place

and i hope to see you someday

this isn't our last goodbye

i'll see you another way



and if forever i have to wait

i'll see you at the pearly gates



i can't quite forget the way

you always made me smile

and all the talks we used to have

i guess i'll have to wait a while

i can't believe you're gone now

it's such a hard feeling to bear

but i'll keep you in my heart forever

and think of you everwhere
