Kairos (with Ancient Greek language, as for the poem's title)

Kairos

We gain from everything but

true love that's not reachable

Thus, we remain vanquished

by our weakness

Or perhaps we have not

found true love yet

to boast of it

in all idleness

Can we interpret

the sparkly eyes of

the stars above?

Like the beautiful

gardens you once saw

and thought you love—

We always buy that

notion of forever

and ever—

But still we flip-flop

out of place

and say never!
