film of the Ganesha temple in India
.. of a place in which all creatures
are regarded as sacred..
in which rats are fed
and that evening as was his wont
he put nuts and seeds
out for the squirrels
unlike the rats they had
the gift of furry tails
.. which curled into an S
when they nibbled by the fencepost
