In his forest temple

a Buddhist monk is seated

at the base of a tree..

fingering his prayer beads, invoking peace.

Father Mother God of all beings, resident in all heart temples,

thank You for today and for the rest of their lives removing from power all violent pawns of money, hatred, and greed:  Donald Rumsfeld,

Tommy Franks, Tony Blair, Jack Straw, Rupert Murdoch,

Michael Eisner, Wolf Blitzer, Joe Lieberman, Ari Fleischer,

George Bush, Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice, George Will

and their secret bosses, as You turn weapons not just

in Iraq but everywhere to plowshares..
