Why Did Christ Pay Such A Price?

Folder:
Probing Questions

Do you think Christ paid such a price so we could live a double life?

No, for He spent His life on a tree, to make a change in you and me.

Many accept His work on the cross and continue on as if they’re lost.

But Jesus died on the cross and with His Blood washed away our dross.

He washed away our sinful life to begin anew as a creature in Christ.

To become a Believer is our choice but then we must obey His voice.

As His sheep we must follow Him, would He friend lead us into sin?

No, for if we follow His heart, Jesus will give us a brand new start.

The Good Shepherd leads one way, out of darkness into the light of day.

Remain in the darkness and you fall but in Christ is no darkness at all.

Allow The Lord to do His part and He will create in you a new heart.

Old desires will pass away as you begin walking down the narrow way.

A narrow path leading away from strife ending my friend in Eternal Life.

My friend, how can you live in sin and as a sheep say you follow Him?

Broad my friend is the other path, leading not to life but Eternal Wrath.

In the Garden before He died, Jesus prayed for us to be sanctified.

To be left in the world but set apart with an undivided servant’s heart.

A divided heart in a Believer’s life creates in many much pain and strife.

We need to serve Jesus with a zeal to show all that our change is real.

That through Christ we’re dead to sin and as Believers alive in Him.
