The Epitome of Isaiah’s Prophecy

Folder:
The Nation Israel

The epitome of Isaiah’s prophecy of men with eyes, who can not see,

Also mentions by God’s seer, that they have ears but can not hear.

So God moved upon those deceived and with His light they now believe,

Although they were far not near, now in their heart is a Godly fear.

God chose for Himself a tiny nation to display to all His Salvation,

And He chose from the start to make them Holy and be set apart.

Set apart with the determination to reach and bless every nation.

From His ways they chose to depart, all because of a hardened heart.

With Abram a covenant with God was made, for he was a man who obeyed,

But right from the very start, most of Israel had an obstinate heart.

And since they failed to obey, God’s promise to Abraham was delayed,

Since they displayed a rebellious heart, God from them had to depart.

God didn’t forget the Jew; He confirmed His Covenant calling it New.

He will write The Law on their heart giving Israel a brand new start.

And this time when God called it New, He included both me and you.

And Gentiles close to Jesus’ heart will also share in an equal part.

The reason they did complain and moan is they had a heart of stone,

And trying to keep God’s Law, in their flesh they continued to fall.

Now they are saved in Christ alone, and by His Blood God will atone.

For Christ is the end of The Law, and on the cross He died for all.

For God will give them a heart of flesh and to this they will attest.

And He will be the God of every Jew and they will be His people too.

Their wicked past they will detest, while they enter God’s Eternal rest.

Then all will know what Isaiah knew, that Salvation is from The Jews.
