On That Day

Folder:
The Nation Israel

Today The Lord is reigning above upon His Majestic Heavenly Throne,

But soon He’ll reign from David’s Throne and Zion shall be His home.

Every valley will be raised up and every mountain will be made low,

For Jesus Christ is The King of Kings and every heart will know.

And as the lightning lights up the evening sky every eye shall see,

Not only is Jesus The King of Kings but He’s The Lord of Eternity.

Every knee will bow that day and every single tongue will confess,

That Jesus Christ is both Lord and God and The Lord of all the rest.

Although Christ was born a babe, He was sent to earth to be a King,

And when He reigns from Zion’s Throne a new song the earth will sing.

On that day His Righteousness will flow from Jehovah’s Holy Mountain,

And God will provide for all the house of David a cleansing fountain.

God will pour down on that nation a spirit of grace and supplication,

On that day Israel will see God’s Salvation and repent as a nation.

Christ’s will stand on the Mount of Olives to split the mount in two,

And this will be done in the Promised Land for all the world to view.

God will gather the nations to Jerusalem in an overwhelming decision,

He will strike the horses with panic and all the men with derision.

All around Jerusalem Israel’s eternal enemies shall perish and die,

While those in Israel and Jerusalem The Lord will eternally provide.

As the whole world looks on He shall lift up The Eternal City of God,

And all Israel’s eternal enemies, under Christ’s feet shall be trod.

They will be destroyed, who towards Israel, were filled with scorn,

Israel will see the one they pierced and as a nation begin to mourn.

But the former splendor of the city of Jerusalem shall be restored,

And their mourning will be turned to joy and laughter forevermore,

Then Israel, the only chosen nation picked by God to be His very own,

Will have God’s Only Son reign in Jerusalem upon King David’s Throne.
