Sonnet On John Norman's "Gor" Series

John Norman, you should know that less is more.

You handle language like it is a whore,

or some poor girl slave, discplined on Gor.

Through all your books, you prove the failure of

your pompous, predators' philosophy

(for losers' wish fulfillment, haltingly

penned) when compared to Paul's great hymn on Love.

Therein, no woman will find disrespect,

or collared bondage, or some injury

for some minor infraction (punished by

some brute).  Love is the bourne of those elect--

a Koine to which they, only, connect:

sadly, sir, you just do not qualify,

and must bear, only, that hard word . . . reject.

Starward
