STOP!  What are you doing?

You can’t know me;

Too much behind this barrier.

I can’t show you;

Keep it all lost inside myself.

Don’t cry,

Don’t weep,

Forgive me;

I just can’t seem to speak.

Sometimes you’re just so close

But then I shut you out;

Too many things that

I just can’t talk about.

Don’t worry,

Don’t care,

Leave me;

My feelings I can’t share.

It’s not you, it’s me

And I stay in lone company.

You haven’t failed me……

I’ve failed my own heart.

Don’t look,

Don’t stay,

Forget me;

I can’t take this silence away.

STOP!  What are you doing?

You can’t know me,

And I can’t show you.

It’s not you, it’s ME.
