She, winter mourning rise...

Winter hath come again

Slowing nature to a still

It feeds upon warm breath

Chilling bone and muscle

The evening fog drifts in over barren field

The eerie night freeze.

And morning rise, she slumbers,

softly through the cool dark

Till the dawn come,

the pale rays shine lethargic through frosted glass

A smile plays upon lips..

For winter hath come.
