You came along at a time when love was a distant
memory....At a time when the fortress built around my heart
was covered in ice....

was the anthem....and the "No Vacancy" sign
hung proudly on the door....
Yes, I thought I was well protected...and out of
nowhere you appeared....
Peering into eyes that were wild with fear....like a
deer facing the headlights of an oncoming
vehicle....You appeared speaking words in a voice so
soothing that they kissed every spot that hurt
Instictively you knew when to say what was said
and just how to say it...
When to just hold my hand and when to hold me
close....
Out of nowhere you appeared...
