I don’t need valentine’s gifts

Or red and pink trinkets

Outlined with cartoon hearts

And commercial sentiments

U can satisfy me, simply

With your every day kisses

More precious than cupid wishes

U can satisfy me

With ample time spent between

And with you and me

Not going out and pretending to be

Just time and no space

Spent between you an me

And I don’t need and I don’t want

Chocolate candies and fluffy toys

Simply bring me joy

Not wrapped in metallic paper

Or stuffed in holiday gifts bag

No need to brag about what I got

Not what I got today

I have love endlessly and on any date

U can satisfy me by being what you be

By being you with me

And I’ll have the best, the biggest, the baddest

The most undeniable, undisputed, heavy weight

Of love and of love making…

No need to let dates dictate

My euphoria is clearly stated

When my voice rises when you call

And when it’s over how it falls

I don’t need candy hearts

And this is not a game

It’s not opposite day when you say you want

But don’t mean what you say

I don’t need it on the day everyone gets it

All I want is what I need everyday

Just love the way you do

And I’ll have a heartfelt my sweetie always loves me day.
