instead of questioning

i'm rediscovering

the little things

and why you love me

and why i still love you

in everything so simple

the little things

the tiny, microscopic, miniscule things

a new appreciation for our things

that out rank their preconceived notions

of what we are supposed to be

being with you is wonderful

being with you is beautiful

being with you is being me

and all i need

is all that you have to offer

because i'm uncovering

because i'm recovering

all of the reasons

why i'm here right now

why you endure me and how

and the little things

those simple things

usually over looked

and unappreciated and

totally under rated

are keeping me so faithful

making me more truthful

making me want to be fruitful

making me wish i was full...

full of you right now

and not worrying about being empty

because with you i can't be

because despite every problem

i perceive to be detrimental

and massively threatening

i still have our little things.
