Your late night binges have been really getting to me
with your lack of sleep and your low self esteem
here you are a hero on heroin and you're gaunt and glamorous
and you know you always have aspired to be one of the best

feeling sorry again,
feeling fake again,
feeling great again
feeling fake again

you claim to know what's best every time
the latest, lamest new sensation
a claim to greatness that nobody can deny
everybody sees through you, everytime you lie

feeling smart again,
feeling fake again,
feeling great again
so second rate again

when you're drowning, you won't be resurrected
you'll be covered in burns
you might be laughing,with your friends and
you're all covered in sores
No words are left unspoken
and nobody's getting away
you are all the victim
as long as everybody sees it that way

everyone's laughing with not at you
