Just staring back at me
Needing love but lacking
If you get too close you will get burned
Loved for one minute and forgot the next
Everything needs love
It may burn bright
But that doesn't mean it's happy
One day it will burn out
Leaving the world to fend for itself
Leaving the people in the dark
Wishing they had a second chance to love
Every day is gloomy
Needing some love,
But it is too late
